Eat, Drink and Eat Some More

Bring your camera and your appetite when visiting the district’s crown jewel: the Packing House. This fully restored building was once used as an orange packing warehouse, but it’s now a vast culinary complex housing more than 20 vendors. The two-story food hall mimics Old World public markets and has all the right decorative nuances, including ceiling-high terrariums, walls adorned by oranges and wildly creative lighting.

Even the most finicky eaters will find something delectable at this culinary wonderland. Munch on Indian street fare, slurp some gourmet ramen noodles or taste the magic of Dark 180, which is a chocolate bar that can only be called epic. Other standout creations are the chicken and waffle sandwiches at The Iron Press, the customizable Popsicles at Popbar and the country fried chicken poutine at The Kroft.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony is Finally Here

It’s finally December, which means that it’s time to start getting into that holiday spirit! Downtown Anaheim is pulling out all of the stops with a lineup of activities that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

On December 3, make your way out to Downtown Anaheim at the Center Street Promenade and Lemon Street intersection. A full day of holiday cheer is in store, which means that from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, enjoy holiday gift shopping, an international food fair and so much more. The little ones will love taking their free picture with Santa Claus from 2:00 to 4:30 pm.

But perhaps the biggest event of all will take place from 6:00 to 6:45 pm. Yes, it’s the Tree Lighting Ceremony and you definitely don’t want to miss it. Watch a procession followed by the lighting of an over 50-ft holiday tree.
