Tips to Celebrate New Years at Disneyland

Celebrating the New Year at Disneyland can be a spectacular experience, but you should be prepared for the long lines and large crowds. New Years Eve is the most crowded day of the year in both Disneyland Parks. Therefore, whether you come alone or with your friends and family, here are some tips to ensure you make the best out of what the park has to offer:

  1. Come early. As stated, this is the most crowded day of the year. At some point in the night, security might even prevent new people from entering the park once it’s reached maximum capacity. So come before seven if you can!
  2. Make use of the FastTrack passes. FastTrack passes are used both at Disneyland and California Disney Adventure to make your wait for the rides go by faster. Since you can anticipate long lines on this day, make sure you get your FastTrack passes as soon as you enter the park.
  3. Dress in layers! The park gets really cold at night, even though it’s in southern California. If you bring extra clothes you want to change into, use the lockers available to store them.

3 Ways to Decorate your Home for Halloween

Amidst all fun October happenings in Anaheim, Halloween is the most awaited one. Have you started planning for this fun festival? Decorate your home for Halloween with these frightening but great ideas.

Scary Landscape: Get some birdhouse from any craft store and spray them with  black paint. Birdhouses of different dimensions will form a mini ghost town which can be placed on an elevated table. If you have rubber snake, toy spiders or faux birds do not mind to enhance the Halloween spirit through them.

Creepy Windows: Your windows deserve a special decor. So decorate them with window silhouettes. Use a black construction paper to cut crawly and creepy vines. Attach them with tapes on the window. You can place fascinating lights on the other side to make the window more captivating.

Ghost Jars: Why is your kitchen deprived of the Halloween fun? All you need is a glass jar and a bit of imagination. With the help of basic craft materials like ice cream sticks and white cloth, make spooky ghost faces and place them amidst cookies in a big glass jar. You can also replace cookies with stones and moss from the garden.
